The Vertex MBA Summer Associate program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry through a hands-on experience as well as mentoring and coaching from Vertex managers. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. 

Our MBA Summer Associates program is a talent pipeline for full-time opportunities. High-performing MBA candidates will be considered for full-time opportunities upon completion of their MBA program.

Each year we typically have MBA internship opportunities in the following functional areas:

  • Commercial

  • Corporate Finance

  • Corporate Data Strategy and Solutions (AI)

2024 MBA Summer Associate:

  • September 2023: Recruitment process kick-off

  • October – November 2023: Interviews conducted

  • June 2024: MBA Summer Associate assignment begins

  • August 2024: MBA Summer Associate assignment concludes
