Vertex’s community guidelines

Thank you for visiting our community guidelines page. At Vertex, we invest in scientific innovation with the goal of creating transformative medicines for people with serious diseases. And while drug discovery and development are complicated processes, learning about us — our research, the diseases in our investigational pipeline, our culture and the people who work here — doesn’t have to be.

Through social media, we aim to inform, educate and connect with members of our community, which includes, but is not limited to, patients, caregivers, health care providers, job seekers, investors and media. We take seriously our commitment to share accurate information in an honest and approachable way, and we appreciate your engagement with the information we share.

At times our engagement may seem limited or delayed, but as a biotechnology company, we must adhere to certain ethical, legal and regulatory standards unique to our industry. To ensure our communications are consistent with our mission and public obligations, we’re sharing our community guidelines, which apply to each of our corporate social media channels and any additional channels we may add in the future. They are subject to change at any time, so we encourage you to check back often.
