Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer
Nina is a communications professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. She joined Vertex in 2019 and leads our global corporate communications function, spanning product communications, media relations, digital and social communications, internal communications and corporate responsibility.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Prior to Vertex she held roles at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (as Senior Communications Advisor to Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D.), at Mylan N.V. (as Head of Global Communications), and at leading global communications agencies including Edelman and Brunswick Group.
