Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development
Christiana Stamoulis joined Vertex in October 2009. She currently serves as the company’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
Ms. Stamoulis has approximately 15 years of experience in the financial services and management consulting industries where she advised global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on strategic and corporate finance decisions. She was most recently a Managing Director in the Investment Banking division of Citigroup where she led the building of the firm’s U.S. Life Sciences investment banking practice. Prior to her role at Citigroup, Ms. Stamoulis was at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she spent the majority of her investment banking career. Ms. Stamoulis started her career as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
Ms. Stamoulis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, Ms. Stamoulis holds a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management where she focused on Applied Economics and Finance.
Ms. Stamoulis is a member of the Board of Directors of Hologic, Inc.
